Abstract: The Climate, Inequality, and Democratic Action: The Force of Political Emotions (CIDAPE) project focuses on analyzing the complex interplay between climate change and social and economic inequalities. Its goal is to understand the role of emotions in the political participation of citizens and the communication of governments and international institutions. Understanding and responding to the emotional (re)actions of citizens is essential to achieving coordinated, democratic action. The intention of CIDAPE is to create a comprehensive approach to multidisciplinary analysis of the importance of political emotions in European climate change policy.
